About
I'm an actor, singer, and director based in NYC. I'm really very good.
I've been studying acting, voice, piano, and dance most of my life, including as a drama major at LaGuardia H.S., but I didn't start pursuing acting in earnest until after graduating Vassar College. I graduated with a B.A. in English, but spent most of my time running a student musical theater group (Future Waitstaff of America) and performing with a dance troupe (FlyPeople).
My interest in the arts began when I saw a dance studio with a colorful window display. "I wanna go!" said 4-year-old Jeannine. "Do you know what it is?" asked my mom. "Yeah!" I replied. I didn't. I asked for piano lessons at 6, when I saw another kid play at assembly. I finally started acting classes and voice lessons at 11 and settled in for the long haul.
Now I'm an adult and I'm much better at all these things than I was when I was 11. I've also lost some of the baby fat.
